“ Tapas del Mar made my day. Enjoying the Opor Tahu and Verduras Marinadas was the best part of the day. Simple delicious!! And Salwa was such a kind and very welcoming waitress. I also enjoyed the great Saxophonist in the background, the nice, exclusive ambiente on the beach and of course the seaview. Thank you so much for this great experience, I will definitely come again. “ This is a well located restaurant on the west coast whose marvellous advantage is the nightly sunset. Bean bag seats as well as regular outdoor tables look across the water to the other Gili islands, with in the far distance the volcano mt Kintomani looming up impressively from far off Java. The menu is Spanish derived. There are many tapas offerings, quite authentically realised, which will please the well travelled. Jugs of sangria on offer too. My partner and I had an excellent and atmospheric meal made even more special by the assistance of our beautiful server, Salwa, who earnestly upsold from the desert menu, and I’m glad she did, the cheesecake was excellent. Recommended. ”
“ I absolutely loved it here. I went for lunch and ended up with 3 Tapas and 2 Montaditos. The food was a pure pleasure as well as the service. Everything tasted delicious and was super sweetly decorated. Just tasted like in Spain. The restaurant has super friendly staff. I absolutely enjoyed my lunch with the perfect ocean view in the shades. I even got welcome breadsticks with hummus. I would definitely recommend eating here! ”
